Summary
The aim of this project was to expand Trainline's paid search
activity into multiple new markets without requiring extra resource.
With the marketing team I designed a solution which autogenerated
campaigns complete with keywords, ad copy and extensions.
Implementation
We created a pipeline which connected Trainline's internal data with external data provided by Google, performed a series of transformations such as translation and the addition of synonyms and then uploaded to DoubleClick's Inventory Management feature.

Summary
Travel Republic wanted to know how best to develop their marketing
technology stack. In particular they want to know what to build
internally and where to use third parties.
Alongside another consultant I conducted an extensive pitch process
where we compared four major vendors against each other and against
the inhouse stack.
By taking a structured and transparent approach to the scoring we
were able to help the business reach a consensus and commit to a
decision.

Summary
Percept are an ad tech company who provide ‘fast, high-quality digital audits' for clients including Vodafone, TSB and Zoopla. They were looking to extend their offering to social and programmatic.
Implementation
I was tasked with working with prospective clients and domain experts
to design a solution for Facebook and Adform, to build a Python
package for each which would download and process the data, and to
integrate this into the existing platform.
My knowledge of the media landscape and experience developing Python
applications which interact with platform API’s meant that in each
case we had a working prototype within weeks and a robust, testable,
scalable package by the end of the project.

Summary
The [M]Services team, who are tasked with supporting twenty agencies
across EMEA with their paid search, were looking to reduce the
amount of work carried out manually.
Working with the EMEA Head of Search I led a project to create a
series of centralised tools which could be used by each of the
agencies. We created built a web application to automate the
creation of search campaigns; tools to provide analysis and
optimisation suggestions and to help with error detection.

Summary
AdWords Agentur are a leading Austrian digital marketing agency.
Operating in a smaller market means then need to be extremely
efficient with their resource and capable of operating with limited
data.
I created a custom bidding algorithm which allowed AdWords Agentur
to optimise their bids across over thirty accounts accurately and
with limited oversight.
The most difficult aspect of the project the edge cases: ensuring
that the bids were generally sensible was straightforward, dealing
with unususal sets of circumstance was much more difficult.
